Jamaica Your Way

Updated: Nov 12

Aaaahhhh…..Jamaica, the land of One Love and Everything Is Going To Be All Right.

Jamaica is the third largest Caribbean island and has perfected the laid-back, anything goes, island lifestyle. Jamaica has something for every type of traveler. With white sand beaches, mountains, rivers, and a rich history, you will want to visit again and again to explore every inch of this island.

Beach Lovers: The shores of Jamaica offer miles of beaches. From white sand in Montego Bay to black volcanic sand on the South Coast, you are sure to find your special slice of paradise. With a variety of all-inclusive resorts lining these magnificent beaches, you can soak in the beauty day and night.

Adventure Seekers: Many know guests can climb the famous Dunn River Falls but did you also know that you can ride a bobsled mountain coaster through the jungle, white water raft on the Rio Grande, explore the back country of the Northeast area by ATVs, and float down the White River on an inner tube?

Nature Lovers: Not only does Jamaica offer stunning beaches but it also has jungle, mangrove forests, racing rivers, waterfalls, caves, and healing springs. Guests can kayak in a bioluminescent lagoon just outside of Montego Bay or float down the river on a bamboo raft.

Foodies: Jamaican cuisine has been adapted by African, Indian, British, French, Spanish, and Chinese influences. The island is probably most famous for its Jamaican Jerk. Try these Jerk Stops for the best: Bourbon Beach in Negril or Scotchies and the Pork Pit in Montego Bay.

Golfers: Jamaica has 11 golf courses on the island including 2 Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril designed courses in the Rose Hall area.

Sea Life Seekers: Marine life lovers can take to the water by scuba diving, snorkeling, and glass bottom boat. The most popular diving in Jamaica can be found around Negril and Montego Bay. Be sure to go to the Arches and the Caves, incredible rock structures where you can see rays and sharks. In Ocho Rios, divers can explore a sunken ship off the coast.

Party Goers: Check out the Hip Strip, a mile- long stretch on Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay. Here you can experience a lively atmosphere day and night. At Margarittaville Montego Bay you can drop down a 120 foot chute right into the sea. Dance the night away to the world’s best Reggae at any one of the bars and restaurants here.

History Buffs: Jamaica has a rich history which can be experienced in many parts of the island. In Montego bay you can visit plantations and learn about the slave liberation movement. Kingston was known as Port Royal in Jamaica’s Pirate Era and was home to Henry Morgan. Here you can explore pirate past, colonial history, and reggae roots. Also, known for rum production, guests have many opportunities to learn about the history of rum in Jamaica.

When you visit Jamaica, you can truly vacation your way.

With a variety of accommodations ranging from All-Inclusive Resorts (adults only and family friendly), Boutique Hotels, Villa Rentals, and Eco Friendly Escapes, you will be able to come back again and again to experience this wonderful destination in a new and fresh way.
